RIO DE JANEIRO, Aug. 2 (Xinhua) -- Juventus have completed the signing of teenage forward Kaio Jorge from Santos, the Brazilian Serie A club said on Monday.
Santos did not provide details of the new contract but said the 19-year-old would be released immediately to join the Italian giants.
"Juventus have accepted the terms that we believe are best for our club at this time," Santos president Andres Rueda said in a statement.
According to Brazilian media reports, Juventus beat off interest from several other European clubs, including AC Milan and Benfica.
Jorge made 79 first-team appearances for Santos and scored 17 goals after his professional debut in 2018.
